That is a seriously good suggestion! You could do the same with an ordinary car as well - Park up and take turns being the 'driver' and the 'rider' - the rider moves about behind the (static) car/van/lorry & the driver calls out whether he/she can see the rider or not. 
You can play this game on the road, if you see the mirros they see you.

tis true Sven yes, except maybe for Polish lorry drivers who will be eating pies, drinking vodka and watching Donkey/Nun porn on a laptop as they drive

UPDATE:
The engineer has been to inspect my bike at the garage and has approved all the repairs - Yay!
Parts are on order and I should be back on the road next week.
Just have to hope the financial side runs smoothly...
